Screeen shots
Below are screen shots of some of the forms.
Race results form
This form appears at startup. The year, series and race of interest are specified here
and there are buttons for navigation to the other forms. Over the years, results for many series and races
may be amassed but may be quickly accessed.
Scoring- points and discards
Any number of scoring and discard rules may be created for use in different series.
Boats
This form is used to input and display boat details and new models of boat.
Once input, a boat may be entered in races without rekeying its details.
A boat may be allocated any number of handicaps and different types of handicap may coexist in time.
Note the handicap history in the lower part of the form.
Series
This form is used to define series, including the series name, subseries (race within a race) name if any,
scoring and discard rules in use, schedule of races, classes of boat and the handicap system for each class.
Race entries
This form is used to enter boats in individual races or a whole series. If the boat does not have a valid handicap
for its class on the date of a race, this is flagged.
Results input
The form is designed to help the race officer under pressure to get the results out as soon as possible.
Boats are quickly found by typing in the numeric part of the sail number or first few characters of the boat name,
or by scrolling through the entry list.
The date and hour default to the previous values and only need to be keyed if they change.
Reports
The program can create various race management reports such as class sheets as well as individual race results
or series scores. There is an option to display results in finish time order to facilitate checking against running records.
Help
Pressing F1 displays help.
